Provider cost + 30%

You pay for the AI that tests your app and the computer time used to run each test. Lux adds a 30% service fee to those costs.

For example, $0.80 for AI and $0.20 for computer time cost $1.30 in credits, including the $0.30 service fee.

Buy credits

Credits are the prepaid balance used to pay for tests.

• The minimum amount of credits you can buy is $1.
• Payment processing fees reduce the credits you receive.
• Credits do not recharge automatically.

Set a run budget

You choose the most you can be charged for one test. This is its run budget, and it includes the service fee and the work needed to end the test.

Lux sets aside that amount from your credits before the test starts. After the test ends and its final cost is known, unused credits return to your balance.

For example, with a $2.00 budget, you can be charged up to $2.00. If the final charge is $1.30, $0.70 returns to your credit balance.

Stopping a test does not cancel charges for work already done or for the work needed to end it.
